The Avenue is run by our umbrella company Lincolnshire Wolds Community Trust. This means that they are run by the same people as LWF are, therefore they have the same exceptionally high standards.
The Avenue's vision is 'a local solution to support local young people'.
The Avenue is a provision run by LWCT for Post 19 young people with additional needs including profound, complex, ASD, and associated challenges. Based at the youth centre on Park Avenue in Louth, we are open three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) during term time (38 weeks a year).
We focus on providing young people with preparation for their future and training for an independent life. We provide a safe space where young people can tailer the provision for what they need.
The avenue offers the training for our young people to have the best possible life chances by:
The Avenue is completely tailored to the young person's needs, therefore activities are planned on a personal basis. After discussions with parents/carers and the young people themselves, we identify what they would like to do, in line with their aims and aspirations for the future.
We aim to provide the best possible life chances by:
The Avenue is a place of outstanding lifelong learning, tailored to individuals and built on the values of visionary, trust, empowering, and a social responsibility.
Prices start at just £60 per day, but can depend on the level of support needed.
The Avenue is open to our students that are leaving the Post 16 Provision, and external Young People who feel it is the right environment for them.
